About Edwards

The Edwards name has been linked with the provision of quality sports equipment since 1884. At its Dorset manufacturing base Edwards Sports Products Ltd currently employs 45 people.

The textile division continues to produce the wide range of nets and screens for football, tennis, cricket, golf and hockey (as well as other sports) with which the company has been long associated. A comprehensive range of aluminium and steel product from the engineering division supports this range.

More recently the product range has been expanded to offer suitable equipment for multi-use games areas (MUGAs). All Edwards products are made to the appropriate British and European standards where applicable. The Edwards commitment to safety has also been underlined by recent involvement with the FA and Football Foundation on the revision of goalpost safety standards. Edwards Sports Products is a SAPCA member.

Edwards is also a suitable supplier to the Football Foundation goalpost safety scheme.

Edwards football goals are in use at a number of Premiership clubs, training grounds and youth academies in England and Scotland (see brochure for details). Demand for sports equipment from international markets has continued over the years.
